What Is A Commercial Mail Receiving Agent?
A Commercial Mail Receiving Agent (CMRA) is a company or individual authorized by USPS to accept mail on behalf of Washington businesses.
Per USPS regulations, all CMRAs must submit USPS Form 1583 (Application for Delivery of Mail Through Agent) for each mail scanning and virtual office client.
When you hire us, we make this process quick and straightforward. After signing up, you can access and complete Form 1583 from inside your secure online account. The best part? There’s no burden on you to print or notarize anything — our team will handle authenticating your form.
Note: Form 1583 is only for mail scanning and virtual office service. If you only hire us for Washington Registered Agent or Business Formation Service, you won’t be required to complete Form 1583.
Benefits of Hiring a CMRA

When you hire us, you’ll receive a real, USPS-verified business address and unique suite number located in our downtown Spokane building. List this address on public-facing documents (such as state forms, business cards, and websites) to protect your privacy. - Enhanced Security & Flexibility.
Never worry about mail getting lost or sitting unattended in a home mail box. With your secure online account, you can easily view and manage your mail from anywhere in the world. - Additional Services.
As a CMRA, we can offer clients more than basic mail service. With our CMRA services, you’ll get secure digital mail storage, same-day mail scans, and so much more!
